In addition to the dancing performances during SICE 2018, the BDU Student Troupe got energetically involved in the exchange activities for international participants.

The festival’s steering board made special effort to take the participating teams to Surin high schools for performances. It was on the 27th of January that the BDU Student Troupe joined the trip to Sirindhorn School. There, they gave an extremely-exciting performance by a modern dance. When the proformances ended, the BDU dancers were enthusiastically applauded and chosen the favorite team by the local audience.
Furthermore, BDU participants were taken to visit Surin province’s traditional craft villages, such as the elephant village, and the silk village. Through this great opportunity, the students experienced and learned a lot about several unique traits of Thai culture.

Thanks to such activities, the students grow more confident to get involved with international people, and have become more aware of their shortcomings and the need for change. This is the aim of BDU Management as we continue to direct the students toward further change ahead.
