As part of the Russian Culture and Science Day program, an international workshop was run between 8:30 and 12:00 on the morning of May 31st in Lecture Hall A1. Its theme was “Russian Technology Transfer and Applicable Solutions for Smart Plants and Cities” in a joint effort by BDU and SPbPU.

Joining the workshop were Prof. Dr. Dimitri Arsenev, Vice-President and other lead professors, academicians and experts from SPbU; Mr. Nguyen Binh Phuoc and Dr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong, Vice-Director and Director from Science and Technology Departments of Binh Duong and Dong Nai provinces, respectively; Assoc.Prof.Dr.Nguyen Van Thanh, BDU Vice President in charge of Int’l Relations and Scientific Research, and BDU faculty, scientists from both in and out of the country, as well as Vietnamese and Korean industries involved in Russia technology transfer and in production and business of electrical and electronic techniques.

Tại buổi tọa đàm, các đại biểu đã được nghe các báo cáo tham luận và hỏi đáp xoay quanh hai chủ đề: các công nghệ có thể được chuyển giao cho Việt Nam thông qua BDU, và các giải pháp ứng dụng của cả hai trường Đại học SPbPU và BDU phục vụ xây dựng nhà máy thông minh và thành phố thông minh.
Before the workshop, the leadership of both schools signed an MOU on setting up a Center for Science and Technology Innovations, which was followed by other activities including the inauguration of the Lab of Micro-Processing Technology (Hoang Hoa Tham campus), and a Russian Culture and Science Day Gala (Students Theatre) from 14:00to 18:00.
